Company Background

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) was established on the 18^th March 1960. TAT was the first organization in Thailand that is responsible about the promotion of tourism. And, the first local office of TAT begins at Chiang Mai in 1968, but at the present have 22 regional offices throughout Thailand. TAT has also established many overseas offices and the first overseas offices in New York. It was opened in 1965. And then 30 years ago, TAT was established more 15 offices in parts of the world.

TAT supports information from every tourist areas. The objective of Thailand is promotion tourism of tourists both Thai and foreigner by research development plans for tourist and co- operates. And then, TAT still support the production and development of personnel in the areas of tourism.
